Elena and Fabio’s Wedding

Celebrant: Before we begin, let us take a few deep breaths, leaving stress and negativity behind as we fill ourselves up with positive energy, love, happiness and joy. Let us settle into our surroundings and be present to the beauty of this moment, this occasion and of this place. Whenever you are worried or stressed in every day matters, may you always recall this beautiful day, this joyous ceremony and the commitment of love that you share with your family and friends. May these thoughts always bring you to a peaceful place in your mind's eye and give you the strength and wisdom you need to handle any challenge that may arise before you.

Elena will now light a candle asking God to grace us with light and love. Help us open our consciousness so that we may receive your blessing.

Fabio will now light the second candle to invite our ancestors to be with us this day, and know that both those we remember, and those who passed before our time, have not been forgotten.

Both Elena and Fabio will light the last candle with their individual candles to bless them as one spirit, one divine path and one glorious life together and a future filled with love and happiness.

We also ask our spirit guides and guardian angels to join us today. You have gently guided and protected all of us since our births. We thank you and ask for your continued guidance and love, especially for Elena and Fabio who will be joined in holy matrimony today.  We ask that they will continue to be loving partners forever.

Elena and Fabio, you have arranged this gathering of family and friends today to affirm your love and commitment, not only to one another, but also to all of your loved ones who are witnesses at this blessing today. It is a wonderful thing to look ahead and envision what your life will be like together. This blessing has come to you from simply loving one another. Imagine the future with not only your love to guide you, but also the love you may share with those you love and care for deeply. May love, respect, wisdom and joy bless you all the days of your lives.

Things will change, yet remain remarkable the same. Moments that were taken for granted in the past will now be more meaningful than ever before. You will rejoice in little things and will now include each other in all of your dreams and goals as well as all of your decisions and concerns. You have become equal partners and will find that you will think of your spouse's well being before your own, a sign of true love.

Now, as you stand at the very beginning of your marriage, your love for each other grows beyond what you knew to be possible. It is with great hope that you can look towards the future and yet again see all possibilities that lie before you as a family of love and light.

Blessed are the man and the woman who have grown beyond themselves and have seen through their separations. They delight in the way things are and keep their hearts open, day and night. They are like trees planted near flowing rivers, which bear fruit when they are ready. Your love for one another is the fruit of your commitment to one another and a miraculous future together. May the blessings of the God follow your family all the days of your lives. Let them keep watch over you and gently guide you onto your true paths of spirituality and enlightenment. They, who are the great Mother and Father of the universe and of all humanity, want you to know from now until all eternity, you will never again be lonely or alone.

After a while, you learn the subtle difference
between holding a hand and sharing a life
and you learn that love doesn't mean possession
and company doesn't mean security
and loneliness is universal
And you learn that kisses aren't contracts
and presents aren't promises
and you begin to accept defeats
with your head up and your eyes open

And you learn to build your hope on today
as the future has a way of falling apart in mid-flight
because tomorrow’s ground can be too uncertain for plans
yet each step taken in a new direction creates a path
toward the promise of a brighter dawn
And you learn that even sunshine burns
if you get too much
so you plant your own garden
and nourish your own soul
instead of waiting for someone to bring you flowers.

And you learn that love, true love
always has joys and sorrows
seems ever present, yet is never quite the same
becoming more than love and less than love
so difficult to define
And you learn that through it all
you really can endure
that you really are strong
that you do have value
and you learn and grow.

Elena and Fabio have chosen each other from the many men and women on this earth, have declared their love for one other to this community and gathering and have shared their love selflessly to bring hope, love and peace into the world through this union. In mutual self-consecration and in ever deepening love for each other and your family, may you establish a home filled with the spirit of faith, truth, goodness and eternal love for each other, your children and your families and for all sentient beings on this earth and beyond. May your union be a source of love, inspiration, commitment and much happiness to you both.

Through this next reading, these are the things you promise to one another:

To love you,
To be a comfort and safe haven in your life,
To hold you close,
To listen deeply when you are sad or angry,
To learn compassion with you,
To nourish you with my gentleness,
To uphold you with my strength,
To love your body as it ages,
To weight the effects of the words I speak and of the things I do,
To never take you for granted, but always give you thanks for your presence.

As our lives unfold together,
I promise to be faithful,
To always express my emotional truth and
embrace you as both teacher and student as we do what life calls us to,
individually and in our relationship.

all of my precious time and the rest of the days of my life.

We have come here today to witness the marriage of Linda and Vito.  By their commitment to each other,, they are preparing for a new life, new experiences and new opportunities with family, friends and their future together as one.

Linda and Vito, may I extend my joy to you on this happy occasion.  You are about to take a new step forward into life called “marriage.” This day is made possible not only because of your love for one another, but through the love of your children, family and friends.  We also want to acknowledge and remember the souls of our beloved family and friends who cannot be here with us today, but we know they are here with us in spirit.

We also ask our guardian angels to join us today. You have gently guided and protected all of us since our births. We thank you and ask for your continued guidance and love, especially for Linda and Vito who will be joined in holy matrimony today.  We ask that they will continue to be loving partners forever.

Marriage is a new beginning as is each triumph that comes with taking risks and opening up to each other, each new beginning serving to renew these vows over and over again. It is my hope that your fulfillment and love for each other and yourselves will increase with each passing year.

Now Linda and Vito will take their marriage vows.  (I will say this and you will repeat it a phrase at a time so you don’t have to memorize it).

Exchange of Rings.

Celebrant: May I have the rings please?

Rings are an ancient symbol, blessed and simple. Round like the sun, like the eye, like arms that embrace. Circles for love that is given - comes back around again and again. Therefore, may these symbols remind you that your love, like the sun, illumines; that your love, like the eyes, must see clearly; and that your love, like arms that embrace, is a grace upon this world.

Healing Prayers

Vikki Anderson is an ordained priest in The Order of Melchizedek and The Sanctuary of the Beloved. This is an order of individuals committed to teach and/or heal the Human Condition as it emerges in to the Age of Aquarius. Because we do not discriminate, everyone is welcome. There is no bias with regard to race, gender or sexual persuasion and many of the world's religions are represented. There are no popes, bishops, high priests or heirarchies of any kind. We are all equal to serve in freedom.

A Prayer

Father, I ask you to bless my friends reading this right now. I am asking You to minister to their spirit at this very moment. Where there is pain, give them Your peace and mercy. Where there is self doubting, release a renewed confidence in Your ability to work through them. Where there is tiredness, or exhaustion, I ask You to give them understanding, patience, and strength as they learn submission to your leading. Where there is spiritual stagnation, I ask You to renew them by revealing Your nearness, and by drawing them into greater intimacy with You. Where there is fear, reveal Your love, and release to them Your courage. Where there is a sin blocking them, reveal it, and break its hold over my friend's life. Bless their finances, give them greater vision, and raise up leaders and friends to support and encourage them. Give each of them discernment to recognize the evil forces around them, and reveal to them the power they have in You to defeat it. I ask You to do these things in Jesus' name.

Healing light and prayers will be sent to that person from all of Vikki's friends who are light healers. Prayers will also be offered for your loved one's recovery from illness, depression, anxieties, going through a rough period in life or any upsetting event.
